Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Lowell, AR that is seeking a Network Engineer - Fortinet/WAN Support for a contract or contract-to-hire role for 6-12 months, potential to convert. The candidate is preferred onsite Monday - Friday; contract period could be remote, but onsite is expected if converted.
Primary Focus:
This role should be focused on Fortinet network support, firewall administration, WAN troubleshooting, routing, VPN, and general enterprise network operations. This is the person who can stabilize and support the core network environment while the team works through immediate staffing gaps.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Fortinet/FortiGate administration
* Firewall support and troubleshooting
* WAN technologies
* VPN support
* Routing and switching fundamentals
* Network performance troubleshooting
* Enterprise/multi-site network support
* Cisco wireless exposure
* Juniper Mist familiarity
* Arista exposure, but not required
Ideal Profile:
* Mid-to-senior Network Engineer with strong hands-on Fortinet experience who can work independently in a production environment and support a multi-site enterprise network
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
