As an Automation Engineer you will be responsible for;

● Read, interpret, and comment on engineering documents, including Controls, P&IDs, GAs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, I/O Lists, Instrument and Automated Valve Lists, Network Architecture.

● Collaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and client meetings.

● Understand, comment, and follow contractual and customer specifications.

● Design the complete detailed programming deliverables, including PLC, HMI, SCADA and related scope.

● Manage budget, scope, schedule, and proactively report risks and opportunities to project teams.

● Lead the maintenance and upkeep of one set of Veolia process control documents.

● Support field and production activities, providing Automation support both remotely and on site.

● Ability to collaborate in and lead cross-functional project team discussions and client meetings.

● Proven ability to develop and follow procedures and standards, while extrapolating new concepts from established standards.

● Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to Veolia WTS products and systems.

● Experience with the major brands of automation equipment; Rockwell, Schneider, Emerson, Siemens

● Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting control systems, network design, VFD's, IPC's and an appetite to learn new software.

Qualifications;

● Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to Veolia WTS products and systems.

● Understanding of networking including redundant and distributed networks

● Understanding of VFD's, instrumentation and other process control related equipment.

● Strong focus on customer relationships (external/internal). Understands balance between customer and Veolia teams.

● Experience with basic electrical design and control documentation.

Periodic travel (25%) for factory testing, panel checkouts, client meetings, customer site visits, and/or visits to other Veolia offices

Location: Bellevue, WA (preferred), Richmond VA, Minnetonka MN, Boise ID, Texas (willing to travel to Bellevue, WA as needed)

Salary Range: $90-$140k
