Job Title: Network Engineer
 Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)
 Clearance Required: Public Trust or Higher 
Overview:  We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong leadership skills to design, configure, test, implement, and maintain our telecommunications infrastructure. The role involves managing both wide area networks (WAN) and local area networks (LAN), ensuring optimal performance, and supporting applications programmers working within the telecommunications environment. The ideal candidate will not only bring technical expertise but also demonstrate the ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Design: Plan and configure WAN and LAN systems to meet organizational needs.
  • Implementation & Testing: Deploy and test network solutions to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Operations & Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for network-related issues.
  • Collaboration: Assist applications programmers working in the telecommunications environment.
  • Performance Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate network changes for operational impact.
  • Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve network and processor-related problems.
  • Diagnostic Tools: Utilize hardware and software diagnostic tools to maintain system health.
  • Leadership: Lead network-related projects, provide guidance to junior engineers, and foster collaboration across teams.
Qualifications:
