Legato, LLC recruiters (Staffing@legatocorp.com) would love to speak with you regarding the following position: Network Engineer with AI in Linthicum, MD.
Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Salary Range: $210,000-$250,000, depending on experience.
What You Will Do:
The Network Engineer with AI, will be a traditional network engineer with at least some background with AI. They will support planning, design, development, implementation and technical su0port of multi-platform, multi-system networks to encompass diagnosing network performance shortcoming and designing and implementing performance improvements The network engineer will develop, operate and manage networks required to operate in this specific environment.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
  • At least some background in artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Able to install and configure Cisco routers and switches
  • Maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve problems with Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, VPNS, Cico Sitches and management applications
  • Experience developing network security requirements, policy and translating requirements into specific device configurations
  • Experience with design and implementation of backbone networks
  • Providing technical direction for the operation, configuration and maintenance of network devices
  • Able to direct a small team in the identification and resolution of complex technical issues and problems
  • A CCNA Certification is required
  • Ten (10) years of experience as a Network Engineer working in routing, switching and network security is required
