We are searching for a talented Senior Engineer-Network

 

Hours: 40hrs  

Shift: Day shift with On Call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday); Every 4-5 weeks; 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location: DHS Infrastructure – Allen Street, New Bedford, MA; position will follow a hybrid schedule

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Position Reports to the Manager, Technical Planning or designee. Perform a wide variety of duties involving the development, planning, installation, and maintenance of Local Area Networks (LANs) and the Wide Area Network (WAN) used by Southcoast Health System and affiliated organizations. Work as a member of the Network Team and work in close cooperation with MIS Directors, other Technical Team members, Engineers, Project Leaders, other MIS staff, and end users in resolving network-related problems.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related fields or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
  • Strong team-oriented mindset. Five years related work experience in implementing, documenting, and troubleshooting Cisco LAN/WAN/WLAN networks to ensure high availability.
  • Experience with Citrix Netscaler, and Infoblox DNS/DHCP appliances.
  • Extensive Cisco routing and switching experience, including BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, and L2/L3 architectures.
  • SD Networking and SD WAN Experience a plus.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

  • Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
