Job description

Senior Network Engineer – Government Cloud Platforms
Location: Raleigh, NC (On-Site)

We're seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and security of next-generation government cloud infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work alongside hardware, software, and cybersecurity professionals building secure, mission-critical environments for U.S. Government programs.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in government or defense networking, understands secure network architecture, and has the technical depth expected of a senior engineer.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
  • U.S. Citizen (No Dual Citizenship)
  • 5+ years of Network Engineering experience
  • Experience designing, installing, configuring, and securing enterprise network infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Dell, TACLANE, or similar networking technologies
  • Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and secure network architectures
  • AWS cloud networking experience, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Security Groups, NACLs, and related services
  • Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments
  • Experience performing site surveys, network installations, testing, and documentation
  • Ability to create and maintain network diagrams using Visio or similar tools
  • Experience supporting ATO documentation and secure government networking environments preferred
  • Strong communication, customer interaction, and technical leadership skills
  • Security+, CCNA Security, or another DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
  • CCNP preferred

What You'll Do:

  • Design and implement secure network solutions supporting cloud-based development environments
  • Build and maintain enterprise networking infrastructure for government programs
  • Work directly with customers to gather requirements and develop secure networking solutions
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and secure network hardware and cloud connectivity
  • Produce network documentation, diagrams, and technical deliverables
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and cybersecurity teams
  • Participate in occasional travel for site surveys, installations, and testing
