This position will be based at Fort Huachuca, AZ.
Responsibilities:
Telos is seeking a Network support Technician to support the US Army on the AGUN Program. The AGUN program is a highly demanding mission requiring expert technical and professional support to sustain the Army's global wide area network and security infrastructure. The selected candidate will support network migration, operations, and maintenance activities while ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the Army's enterprise network.
This role includes resolving service tickets, implementing approved network changes, supporting operational workflows, and collaborating with technical teams to maintain and improve network performance across a global environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Support 24x7x365 AGUN operations and provide updates to the Global Cyber Center (GCC) to facilitate command and control of the AGUN network.
Execute standard network policy and configuration changes, including common remediation activities and pre-approved operational workflows.
Manage, triage, track, and update workflows and service tickets within JIRA Service Desk and other IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing platforms.
Provide situational awareness and status updates regarding ticket resolution and operational activities as directed by the GCC.
Escalate incidents and service requests to higher-tier support teams when required.
Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to perform legacy environment discovery, assess current capabilities, and support network modernization initiatives.
Provide Tier II operational support for the Army's global network infrastructure.
Analyze network performance and identify optimization strategies to improve capacity, reliability, and operational effectiveness.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues across geographically dispersed enterprise environments.
Support network migration, integration, and operational sustainment activities.
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience. Additional directly applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Active DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+) or higher prior to start date.
Must obtain and maintain an approved Computing Environment (CE) certification applicable to the supported technology environment within six (6) months of hire.
Demonstrated experience supporting Cisco SD-WAN environments.
Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) concepts and technologies.
Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware.
Experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
Hands-on experience with InfoVista network performance management tools.
Experience working with two or more of the following network technologies:
o Cisco DNA Center / Prime
o Juniper Networks
o Palo Alto Networks
o Dell Networking
o Junos Space
o AppGate
Experience utilizing IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing tools.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including:
o LAN/WAN
o BGP
o TCP/UDP
o IPSec
o VPNs
o Layer 2/Layer 3 Routing
o Firewalls
o SFTP
o SSH
o SCP
o SNMP
o NTP
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent.
Experience with Linux shell scripting.
Experience with GitLab source control and CI/CD pipeline development.
Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
Experience with NetSecOps technologies, including Salt, Git, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and network element management tools.
Experience with Network Performance Management solutions, including SNMP, NETMON, and LiveAction.
Experience with two or more of the following technologies:
o NetFlow
o Elastic
o Kafka
o Grafana
o Prometheus
o Nexus Repository
Experience designing, optimizing, and supporting complex geographically dispersed enterprise networks.
Knowledge of U.S. Army network security requirements and enterprise network infrastructure operations.
