Position Overview

Flourish Counsel Connect is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. As a full-time therapist, you will play an essential role in providing evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, helping them navigate their mental health challenges in a supportive and affirming environment. This remote position allows for flexibility while ensuring quality care for our patients in the greater Phoenix, Arizona area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture a trusting relationship with clients, establishing rapport that promotes openness and honesty during therapeutic sessions.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and treat various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and relational issues.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, preferences, and circumstances.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, using various therapeutic modalities to engage clients effectively.
  • Regularly evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments of client progress and feedback, ensuring positive outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to refer clients to specialists when necessary, ensuring comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of clients' mental health.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues while offering strategies to enhance coping mechanisms and resilience.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating a variety of mental health challenges. Our clientele often includes those dealing with relational conflicts, stressors related to family dynamics, and individuals seeking to overcome personal barriers to health and well-being. You will be instrumental in encouraging these diverse populations to engage with therapy and explore their emotional landscapes for improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic techniques and an understanding of foundational theories in marriage and family therapy.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively connect with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Competence in maintaining confidentiality and understanding ethical considerations in mental health practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in addiction counseling, particularly with evidence-based practices for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and online counseling techniques.
  • Experience working with culturally diverse populations, understanding their unique challenges and perspectives in the therapeutic process.
  • Strong track record of creating and implementing successful treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
Compensation and Benefits
