Responsibilities
  • Drive net-new business development efforts by identifying, targeting, and securing new client partnerships within the Accounting, Finance, and HR/Admin sectors
  • Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on generating new logo acquisition, market penetration, and revenue generation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers at all levels
  • Own the full consultative sales process including prospecting, networking, client meetings, presentations, contract negotiations, and account growth
  • Partner closely with the delivery team to align talent solutions with client hiring needs and ensure seamless execution
  • Leverage existing relationships while continuously developing new opportunities through cold calling, referrals, networking, social selling, and market research
  • Stay informed of industry trends, workforce challenges, labor market conditions, and competitor activity to provide strategic guidance to clients
  • Collaborate with other Planet Group sales teams to identify cross-selling opportunities and expand client partnerships
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and consistently meet or exceed new business and revenue targets
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and entrepreneurial ownership
Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree
  • 5+ years of business development experience within the staffing industry
  • Proven success in generating net-new business and building client relationships from prospecting through close
  • Experience selling Accounting & Finance, HR/Admin staffing solutions strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of quota attainment and consistent revenue production in a hunter-oriented role
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the confidence to engage senior-level stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and problemโ€‘solving ability
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationshipโ€‘building skills
  • Selfโ€‘motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
