Salary Range: 20S Entry Level Pay $84,353.62ย to Pay Range Maximum $124,323.68

Starting Pay:ย $84,353.62

Salary Notes: This position is designated as a Union position. All new hires must start at the entry level rate for this role per the collective bargaining agreement/MOA with OPEIU, Local 6. Pay may advance within the salary band according to the CBA/MOU.

Position Summary:ย Installs and configures network and end user equipment. Coordinates network activity with court personnel and vendors. Monitors networks for availability and bandwidth constraints. Troubleshoots networking issues. Works on submitted tickets as necessary.

Supervision Received:ย Works under the direction of the Manager of Network Services.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Monitors network availability via various network tools.
Creates utilization and capacity reports, and takes appropriate actions in response to findings.
Administers software used to monitor the network.
Handles end user applications and network issues.
Monitors networks for availability and bandwidth constraints.
Troubleshoots cabling and evaluates onsite networking issues.
Works with vendors to have work performed in court locations.
Troubleshoots problems and gives step-by-step directions to key users for checking the network.
Creates Check Point Firewall entries in compliance with Trial Court policies.
Maintains Domain Name Server or Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol appliance entries and changes info as equipment at sites are added or changed.
Utilizes ServiceNow ticketing system, to report issues, open necessary tickets for services and forwards to appropriate departments for further processing.
Opens tickets for Change notices to inform all necessary people of network issues or request new services for Trial Court locations.
Makes changes to Barracuda load balancers as requested for service needs.
Installs network and end user equipment.
Installs monitors and configures network equipment.
Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:
Technical Degree or similar certification
Three (3) years of related work experience
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered for meeting minimum qualifications.

Physical Demands:ย This position requires light work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for the Sedentary Work category and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated Light Work.
