Procon E&C - Hiring Accounting & ERP Intern (Construction Industry)
Procon Engineering & Construction is seeking an IT Systems & Cloud Operations Intern to support company-wide IT infrastructure, cloud systems, security, and user access management.
This internship provides hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration, email system migration, IT security controls, and enterprise software access management within a fast-growing construction company.
You will work closely with the Finance & Operations / IT leadership team and gain practical exposure to real-world IT operations, not software development.
This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in IT systems administration, cloud operations, and corporate IT environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with GoDaddy to Microsoft 365 email migration
  • Support Exchange Online configuration and mailbox management
  • Verify and test inbound and outbound email flow
    • SPF, DKIM, DMARC validation
    • Spam filtering and mail security checks
  • Assist in Microsoft 365 tenant administration
    • User accounts, licenses, groups, and permissions
  • Support IT security and access control
    • MFA verification
    • Admin account review
    • Role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Assist with server room and IT infrastructure security checks
    • Access control verification
    • Hardware and network documentation
  • Review and document employee access to company software
    • Microsoft 365
    • ERP systems
    • Other internal SaaS tools
  • Support onboarding and offboarding IT processes
  • Maintain IT documentation, access lists, and operational checklists
  • Assist IT leadership with day-to-day IT operational support

Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in:
    • Information Systems
    • Computer Engineering
    • Information Technology
    • Computer Science (systems / infrastructure-oriented)
    • or a related field
  • Basic understanding of:
    • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
    • Email systems and user account management
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working with administrative systems and checklists
