Job description

NetSuite Development & Solution Delivery
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support NetSuite solutions utilizing any or a combination of the following: SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, custom records, saved searches, dashboards, and related NetSuite development tools.
  • Configure, customize, and optimize NetSuite modules supporting Finance, Operations, Sales, and other business functions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize NetSuite enhancements, establish a strategic development roadmap, and recommend the most effective path for future platform growth and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain custom scripts, workflows, forms, records, reports, dashboards, KPIs, Advanced PDF templates, and automation that improve operational efficiency.
  • Design, develop, and support NetSuite integrations utilizing APIs, SuiteTalk, RESTlets, middleware, web services, and ETL platforms.
  • Evaluate business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions while minimizing customization where configuration is appropriate.
  • Participate in NetSuite upgrades, releases, testing, and deployment activities to ensure compatibility with customizations and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot complex application issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions that improve system reliability, performance, and user experience.
  • Monitor application performance and recommend enhancements that improve scalability, security, and business value.
  • Ensure all development activities adhere to OneCompass Holdings' development standards, governance, security policies, and business processes.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Solution Delivery
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and design technical solutions that support business objectives.
  • Provide advanced support for NetSuite customizations, saved searches, reports, dashboards, workflows, scripts, user roles, permissions, and integrations.
  • Support enterprise data management efforts including data validation, ETL processes, data cleansing, master data management, data imports, and ongoing data quality initiatives.
  • Assist teams with business process mapping and identify opportunities to automate manual processes, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop technical specifications, estimate development effort, participate in testing, and support implementation activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to end users and business teams to encourage adoption of NetSuite capabilities and best practices.

Documentation & Governance
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, customization specifications, process flows, integration diagrams, deployment documentation, and user guides.
  • Maintain documentation as system configurations, customizations, integrations, and business processes evolve.
  • Follow established software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, source control, release management, and change management practices.
  • Support governance by maintaining appropriate security, role-based permissions, system access, and development standards while ensuring upgrade compatibility and long-term maintainability.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience administering NetSuite in a complex, multi-department environment.

  • Understanding of ERP processes, including Finance and CRM.

  • Experience with third-party integrations and middleware platforms.

  • Experience working with relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

  • Strong SQL development skills including complex queries, joins, views, and stored procedures.

  • Knowledge of NetSuite Finance modules is highly beneficial.

  • Familiarity with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and web services is a plus.

  • Proficiency with custom records, custom objects, CSV imports, workflows, saved searches, reports, dashboards, and role-based permissions.
