Job description

Join our Finance organization as an ERP Systems Analyst! You will serve as the NetSuite ERP subject matter expert, playing a key role in system implementation, optimization, and ongoing development. This position focuses on driving efficiency, adopting best practices, and ensuring reliable performance across NetSuite and its integrated business systems. 

Elevate & Thrive: Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact with operational areas utilizing NetSuite. Collaborate and partner with operational leaders and key internal stakeholders to ensure the design and functionality of the system is driving value and efficiency for the organization. 
  • Subject matter expert and ERP system owner for all areas of Finance with the ability to help identify and recommend system solutions.
  • Identify and prioritize system enhancements and improvements. Partner with the business to drive adoption and utilization of the system in support.
  • Develop strategies for future business processes to best utilize system functionality.
  • Key participant in all phases of the initial and future implementation processes including testing for all system workflows, identify potential system impact on current configurations, minimize downtime and impact on users, and ensure end users are trained on system functionality.
  • Ensure consistency in configuration, process, timing, resource allocation and functionality across all departments, divisions, and enterprises. This includes the coordination of Master Data across the entire enterprise.
  • Work closely with IT and 3rd party vendors to design and implement customizations and integrations and to ensure seamless data flow between the NetSuite system and other applications.
  • Evaluate and recommend additional modules based on organization need and ROI to realize the full value of the ERP platform's functional capabilities.; provide leadership for all future module implementations.
  • In coordination with IT, manage the relationship with NetSuite’s support and customer service team to solve complex and/or unique system issues.
  • Act at the ERP functional expert with respect to configuring and delivering management information to leaders via dashboard, reports, and other means provided by the ERP system.
  • Develop and build collaborative working relationships with Business Intelligence, IT, HRIS and Finance teams.
  • Stay current on trends, developments and best practices in the NetSuite ecosystem, ERP system management and technology optimization.

Occasional Tasks:

  • Network with NetSuite users, peer groups and experts

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business or another closely related field.
  • 5+ years of ERP systems experience. Minimum 3 years’ experience working with NetSuite ERP or similar Oracle ERP systems.
  • Minimum 3+ years of analyst level experience with financial, managerial, and/or governmental accounting.
  • Experience with business systems implementation. Preference for ERP systems implementation.
  • Solid understanding of business operations, budgeting, order management, financial management, purchasing, inventory management strongly preferred.
  • Experience with business process improvement methodologies and related change management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organization from users to senior executives.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to distill and concisely communicate (in writing and verbally) key business insights from complex analysis.
  • Robust experience with MS Office, including advanced skills in Excel and Visio.
  • Database (SQL) management system experience preferred.
  • Excellent time management, organization, attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
