Job description

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to serve as the internal owner of our NetSuite environment. This is a highly visible role that will partner closely with Finance, Operations, IT, and external implementation partners to drive enterprise-wide NetSuite initiatives.

Rather than focusing solely on day-to-day administration, this position is ideal for someone who has been through multiple end-to-end NetSuite implementations and enjoys improving business processes long after go-live. You'll help shape the future of our ERP strategy while supporting a rapidly growing organization through acquisitions and continuous system enhancements.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, Operations, IT, and external NetSuite partners.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into scalable NetSuite solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Finance and Operations by optimizing workflows, automation, saved searches, dashboards, reporting, and system configuration.
  • Support NetSuite implementations from discovery and design through testing, deployment, user training, and post-go-live support.
  • Partner with implementation consultants and developers on customizations, integrations, and system enhancements.
  • Build KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools that improve operational visibility and business decision-making.
  • Support month-end close, accounting processes, inventory, procurement, manufacturing, and operational workflows within NetSuite.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, and release planning.
  • Troubleshoot NetSuite issues while maintaining system documentation and governance.
  • Support future acquisitions by assisting with ERP migrations, business process alignment, and integration planning.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of NetSuite Business Analyst, ERP Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst experience.
  • Multiple full-cycle NetSuite implementation projects from design through post-go-live support.
  • Strong understanding of both Finance and Operations within NetSuite, including exposure to manufacturing or supply chain processes.
  • Experience working with Finance modules (GL, AP, AR) and operational modules such as Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, business users, and technical teams.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional solutions.
  • Strong understanding of workflows, saved searches, dashboards, reporting, and NetSuite configuration.
  • Experience working with external implementation partners or NetSuite consulting firms is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to SuiteScript or technical customizations is a plus but not required.

Preferred Background

  • Manufacturing, engineering, industrial, utilities, or construction industry experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting high-growth organizations or companies expanding through acquisitions.
  • NetSuite certifications are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to become the long-term internal NetSuite owner for a growing organization. You'll have the chance to influence ERP strategy, work directly with executive leadership, support acquisitions, and build scalable business processes that will have a lasting impact across the company. The role offers significant ownership, career growth, and the opportunity to shape the future of NetSuite within the business.
