Job description

Duties:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to gather and understand business requirements related to financial processes.
  • Design and develop SuiteScript customizations, workflows, and integrations to automate tasks, improve reporting, and streamline financial processes.
  • Configure and maintain financial modules within NetSuite, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory.
  • Develop and implement data integrations with other systems, such as banks, payment processors, and ERP systems.  Perform unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of customizations.
  • Document all customizations and maintain clear and concise documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest NetSuite features and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the NetSuite financial module.
  • Assist with NetSuite upgrades and migrations.
Qualifications / Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or related field.
  • Experience Minimum 5 years of experience developing and customising cloud-based ERP systems.
  • Must have recent experience in NetSuite financials Skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial best practices.
  • Proficient in SuiteScript, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Experience with XML, REST APIs, and data integration tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Skills: 
  • NetSuite technical skills including suite script, Java script, workflows, reporting, saved search & others.
  • NetSuite functional skills around Lead to Cash including Order Management, Fulfillments, and Invoicing & Revenue preferred.
  • Good Communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work with business users directly and ability to navigate thru ambiguity.
  • Self starter, willing to step in other areas as necessary.
