Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a NetSuite Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing NetSuite solutions. This includes configuring NetSuite and its modules, developing data models, managing integrations, writing code, automating business processes, and creating custom functionality. The NetSuite Developer will work closely with NetSuite administrators, developers, and product owners, using Agile methodologies to design, develop, and deploy effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom NetSuite scripts (SuiteScript 1.0/2.0) and workflows to meet business needs, with a primary focus on SuiteScript customization and integrations.
  • Integrate NetSuite with third-party systems using SuiteTalk (Web Services) or RESTlet frameworks.
  • Assist in improving existing 3PL integrations and collaborate with team members to ensure systems operate optimally.
  • Maintain existing APIs based on guidance provided by peers.
  • Deploy development work across multiple environments in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Conduct code reviews with a focus on SuiteScript standards and mentor junior developers in script optimization.
  • Stay current on NetSuite updates and industry best practices.
  • Document technical specifications and system designs for new functionality and bug fixes.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a NetSuite Developer, with demonstrated expertise in SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0
  • Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, and financial modules within NetSuite
  • Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, APIs, SQL, and FreeMarker templates
  • Strong familiarity with Agile software development practices and tools
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with JSON formats and data exchange mechanisms
  • Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab
  • Experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) or automated configuration tools such as Salto
  • Understanding of business processes in operations and finance, including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Revenue Recognition, and Inventory Management
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and collaborate effectively with teams across diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain consistent, high-quality performance standards
