About the team

The Netflix Brand Creative Studio is an in‑house team of Strategists, Creatives, Designers, Producers, and Program Managers who create culturally relevant and commercially rewarding ways for Netflix to delight our fans, strengthen our brand, and deliver for the business. We help develop and execute a variety of creative programs spanning a range of audiences, goals, formats, styles, and scale. We’re focused on building passionate fandoms and shaping how the world perceives, experiences, and connects with our brand. We find fresh ways to express our brand values and beliefs. We create brand marketing as entertaining as our content. We put creativity at the center of our brand partnerships so our collaborations with advertisers continue to deliver on our mission to entertain the world. We partner with teams across the company to ensure our brand both adds value to and benefits from all our collective efforts.

Function & Role Overview

The studio is looking for an experienced and hands‑on Manager, Brand Creative to help create the kind of entertaining campaigns that will help grow and shape the next era of Netflix. The right candidate will be a born storyteller with strong art direction chops that translate across many canvases. They should be a deep lover of pop‑culture and inspired by creativity across categories. This particular role will focus on driving hype around Netflix House, our growing collection of immersive physical fan destinations. As Art Director, you will help build the next story of Netflix House’s construction, shaping how this new entertainment concept is defined in the hearts and minds of fans—driving them to play, eat, shop and step into their favorite worlds in real life. In this role, you will focus on mid‑to‑lower funnel creative campaigns for Philadelphia and Dallas locations, while also supporting the consumer launch of Netflix House Las Vegas. From art directing seasonal campaigns, to crafting nimble, conversion‑driving creative that keeps fans buzzing, you’ll ensure our brand looks premium, feels participatory, and effectively drives business impact.

In this role, you will:
  • Develop and execute mid‑to‑lower funnel creative for seasonal campaigns, recurring programming, and evergreen marketing for Netflix House.
  • Holistically craft and guide creative campaigns from concept to delivery, partnering with external vendors and internal stakeholders — inclusive of direction of development, art direction, post and finishing at the highest level of craft.
  • Ensure the consistency of Netflix voice and visual identity are maintained, in partnership with the Brand Creative Studio Design team.
  • Partner with Netflix House team to infuse business goals with smart, scalable creative that draws press, fan conversation and increased foot fall and ticket sales.
  • Partner with Brand Creative Studio Strategy to breathe creative life into marketing briefs, ensuring key goals, considerations and measurements are accounted for and accomplished.
Experience and skills:
  • 10+ years working in creative marketing with high‑growth, global consumer, entertainment, and/or technology brands known for compelling, culture‑shaking creativity
  • A wealth of experience with creative, defining art direction across different media types including AV, Static, Social, Events, Internal Comms and everything else you could imagine
  • A background representing a blend of experiences across in‑house, agency and/or consultancy teams.
  • Deep production experience required
  • Experience in experiential marketing and/or the marketing of physical experiences a plus
  • Comfortable working with all types of vendors and budgets from agency‑led 360 campaigns to small, scrappy in‑house projects
  • Strong communication and input abilities on making strategic, creative work that is grounded in business priorities
  • Experience managing global cross‑functional projects end‑to‑end
  • Must have excellent communication skills and judgment with the ability to proceed effectively through ambiguity
  • Will demonstrate a bias towards action and be ready to roll up their sleeves to get the work done.
  • Should be humble, curious, collaborative, and nimble.
  • Able to work from our Los Angeles offices

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $198,000.00 - $310,000.00.
