Job description

At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what's next.

We're looking for a strategic and creative Social Manager to lead title social strategy across Netflix's Kids & Family offerings & lead our always on platform ecosystem.

We are looking for someone who understands both kids and their parents - how kids engage with media, how parents discover and decide what's worth their family's time, and how to reach both audiences wherever they actually are. They'll bring strong editorial judgment, a genuine point of view on what works in the kids and family space, and the ability to strategically connect the dots across slates and lines of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run the always-on Kids & Family brand channel ecosystem across Netflix Family and Netflix Jr, spanning YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, print, podcasts, web and email. On the strategy level, this involves staying current on best practices, algorithm shifts and what's working for kids and family audiences on each platform. Executionally, this means owning the programming, working with agency partners to execute, and making judgment calls grounded in audience behavior and data.

  • Lead title social campaigns for Netflix's kid-first slates, from strategy through execution. This includes setting the social approach, overseeing briefing & content development, and coordinating with cross-functional partners from campaign kick-off through launch and beyond.

  • Use analytics and internal data to inform and evolve strategy. Know what to measure, understand what the numbers mean, and be willing to change course based on what you find.

  • Work across internal teams - Title Marketing, Publicity, Content Development, Regions, etc - to align social strategy with broader goals and communicate Social's contribution clearly.

Background and Specific Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in kids and family marketing, with a meaningful portion in social and YouTube.

  • Deep familiarity with how kids and parents engage with entertainment across games, series, films and the platforms they use daily.

  • Comfortable owning always-on programming, channel strategy, and audience development across multiple platforms.

  • Strong YouTube knowledge - how the platform works for kids media, how to put quality and safety first, and how to build and sustain an audience over time.

  • Experience working with creative agencies, including briefing, reviewing creative, and managing timelines.

  • Strong analytical instincts. Able to pull meaningful insights and suggest action plans based on data.

  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills. Able to present strategy clearly, take and give notes, and advocate for the work.

  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns, business initiatives and ongoing platform responsibilities simultaneously.

  • Respect, understanding, and enthusiasm for Netflix culture.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $177,000.00 - $306,000.00.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off. Full-time salaried employees are immediately entitled to flexible time off. See more details about our Benefits here.
