Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced NetApp Professional Services Resident to provide ongoing storage infrastructure support and strategic consulting services within a large-scale enterprise environment supporting critical public sector operations.

This role requires a proactive, consultative NetApp expert who can provide operational support, advisory services, and leadership on storage-related initiatives while helping guide future storage expansion and optimization efforts.


Location & Schedule

  • Hybrid work schedule
  • Required onsite in Brooklyn, NY a minimum of 2 days per week
  • Must be currently based in the New York metropolitan area


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support NetApp storage environments.
  • Provide consultative guidance and strategic recommendations related to enterprise storage infrastructure.
  • Lead and support storage-related initiatives and special projects.
  • Perform storage administration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams and stakeholders to ensure system reliability and availability.
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions for evolving storage requirements.
  • Support technologies beyond core ONTAP administration where applicable.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on NetApp administration and consulting experience.
  • Strong expertise with:
  • NetApp ONTAP
  • NetApp FAS platforms
  • NetApp AFF platforms
  • Experience performing ONTAP upgrades and lifecycle management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot storage, file-share, and access-related issues.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise storage architecture and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to serve in a consultative and advisory capacity rather than solely operational support.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem solving.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Kubernetes environments.
