What you will do:

  • Lead the development and governance of enterprise and GDS emissions targets and performance scorecards, ensuring consistent, transparent, and defensible methodologies and reporting standards.

  • Drive the emissions forecasting and reduction prioritization process, building a stable, centralized operating model that enables actionable insights and measurable progress.

  • Establish and advance Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduction strategies, including interim targets, methodologies, and policies that support operational delivery across GDS.

  • Consolidate emissions reduction initiatives into an enterprise-wide 3+ year plan, delivering portfolio-level insights to inform prioritization, funding decisions, and strategic alignment.

  • Design and apply robust prioritization frameworks to evaluate initiatives based on emissions impact, strategic fit, and eligibility for funding beyond GDS budgets.

  • Develop long-term emissions scenarios, including the enterprise pathway to net zero (2050), integrating technical inputs into credible and decision-ready analysis.

  • Partner across teams to translate regulatory requirements into defensible compliance strategies, while advancing carbon attribute governance, research partnerships, and ESG-related capital planning and reporting.

What you have:
  • Related University Degree and 7 or more years directly related experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience.

  • Critical thinking to plan and execute multi-step processes.

  • Independent and able to drive work with limited guidance.

  • Knowledge of Enbridge businesses and value drivers.

  • Can research across resources and distill into insights for Enbridge.

  • Highly collaborative; must be able to work with other BUs and functions to develop recommendations.

  • Able to conduct quantitative analysis.

Preferred:
  • Degree inEnvironmental Sciences, Business Administrationor Engineering.

  • GDS operations(Gas Distribution & Storage), CDN/US Utilities,with background in project management.

  • Experience involving Provincial /State and Federal (CAN/US) regulatory reporting (e.g., Ontario (MECP; OEB), Quebec (Regie de l'energie), Federal Canada (ECCC), US EPA and FERC).

Working Conditions:
  • Office environment with some travel to other Enbridge office locations.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Salary:

  • Ranges from $111,870 - $140,000 CAD for Ontario locations based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
