You Are:

The Accenture AWS Business Group (AABG) Mid-MarketSales Executive for US companiesis responsible fordriving sales growth in the AccentureMid-MarketDirect Business by developing and closing new business opportunities with AWS customers. They will focus on closing opportunities that have been originated by the mid-market originators for industry companies. This role combines industry knowledge, a passion for AWS cloud technology, and a consultative sales approach to help clientsleveragethe pre-defined AABGMid-Marketofferings to meet their technology service requirements. The Sales Executive willinterface directly withCIO or CDO, CTO, VPs of Software Development/Engineering, VPs of Infrastructure, or VPs of Data, AI, or Analytics. They will engage the customers hand and hand with the AABGMid-MarketTechnical Architect, who have a deep working/technical knowledge of each AABG offering. The Sales Executive will be accountable for progressing the sales and supporting the customer to complete the transaction via the AWS Market Place or directly with the custom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly withMid-MarketDirect Customers from the C-Suite to Area Leader

  • Managed and nurture relationships with Clients and AWS

  • Drive net new customer acquisition and scale existing client base in the AccentureMid-MarketDirect customer segment

  • Coordinate closely lead generation providers, solutioning team and Technical Architects

  • Engage with AWS, and other partners at the tactical and strategic level across their Sales, Solution Architect, and Partner Teams

  • Meeting quarterly and yearly sales targets for the segment

Travel may berequiredfor this role.The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here'swhat You Need:

  • Minimum8years of B2B sales experience selling complex cloud solutions and/or DevOps consulting.

  • Minimum of8years of experienceselling AWS, and related services isrequired.

  • Minimum of 5 years deep Industry experience in one or more of the following industries: Financial Services, Resources, CMT, or Health

  • Proventrack recordof sourcing and closing $500K+ ARR deals successfully.

  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in direct sales with quota, preferably in excess of $7M+

  • ABachelor's Degreeor equivalent work experience (12 years) or anAssociate's Degreewith 6 years of work experience

Preferred:

  • Technical Background in DevOps or Cloud is preferred.

In addition to base pay, this Sales role is eligible for additional incentive compensation which is based on achievement toward individual sales metrics, subject to Plan terms2
