Employment Type: Full-Time, Hybrid, Salary, Non-Exempt

About AccuSourceHR

AccuSourceHR™ is a full-service employment screening organization headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Since 1999, we've combined innovative technology with high-quality, US-based client care. Our culture is built on collaboration, continuous learning, and a commitment to excellence, ensuring our team members feel valued, supported, and empowered.

Role Summary

We're building the future of background screening and HR workflows, and we're doing it with a small, AI-native engineering team. You'll own a customer-facing .NET platform end-to-end, ship integrations that real businesses depend on, and help shape what modern agentic development looks like in production.

This is a builder's seat with real autonomy. Agentic development is core to how we work — Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot are how we understand systems, design solutions, and ship features. We hire for AI fluency because it's how a small team delivers like a much larger one.

If working this way energizes you, we'd love to talk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the platform end-to-end. A multi-module .NET application serving real customers. You operate it, evolve it, and help decide where it goes next.
  • Build integrations that matter. Background screening, payroll, and the next provider on the roadmap. Reliable, observable, and built to handle real-world edge cases.
  • Ship customer-driven features. Feedback comes in, features go out. We work in tight feedback loops with our customers and product team.
  • Run an agentic workflow. Use AI agents to explore code, design systems, generate tests, and accelerate delivery. Help define the playbook the rest of the team will adopt.
  • Own quality without a safety net. Automated tests and CI gates are how we ship with confidence. No QA team — quality is part of the engineering job.
  • Lead technically. Write design docs, run design reviews, mentor teammates, and communicate clearly with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years shipping production .NET applications (C#, ASP.NET Core, EF Core)
  • 3+ years building frontends with React and TypeScript in production
  • Strong fundamentals: API design, debugging, performance optimization, clean code
  • Deep relational database experience (SQL Server and/or MySQL) — schema design, query tuning, migrations
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs with strong patterns around auth, versioning, retries, and idempotency
  • Automated testing and CI/CD as a default — you write tests alongside features, not after
  • Daily agentic development practice — you can walk us through your workflow and the impact it has on your output
  • Strong written communication (design docs, ADRs, async updates)

Preferred Qualifications

  • HCM/HRIS domain experience (ATS, onboarding, payroll, benefits, time & attendance)
  • Payroll integration experience (mapping, reconciliation, auditability)
  • Microservices, event-driven architectures, or message queues in production
  • Observability practice — distributed tracing, structured logging, metrics
  • Cloud experience with Azure or AWS (App Services, ECS, Lambda, Functions)
  • SOC 2 or regulated-data environments
  • Mentorship or end-to-end product ownership

Benefits

  • Industry-leading health insurance plan from day one.
  • Free parking at the office.
  • Hybrid work setup (because flexibility matters) - up to 3 days/week remote.
  • Space to grow, experiment, and make a real impact.
  • Work with a team of curious, kind, and driven humans.
  • Snacks, coffee, and good vibes always stocked.

Salary

4,240–6,360EUR gross/month depending on experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to commute to our Vilnius office 2 times / week.
  • Ability to participate in a shared weekly on call rotation as part of the team’s operational support responsibilities.
  • A dedicated and ergonomic workspace at home conducive to focused work, including proper seating and desk setup.
  • Access to a stable and reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Adequate lighting and minimal background noise to support professional video calls and meetings.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 5 pounds occasionally, for tasks such as setting up a workstation or equipment.
