Salary range (but not limited to):

118,700 - 145,100

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

We're looking for a Senior AI Developer to join our growing team!
What you'll do here:

  • Design and Implement AI Solutions: Develop and integrate AI solutions tailored to improve the business' operational processes, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborative Solution Development: Work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure AI solutions are effectively addressing business needs by leveraging high-quality data and aligning with strategic goals.
  • Performance Optimization and Deployment: Focus on optimizing AI systems for efficiency and effectiveness. Deploy solutions in production environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and maintaining high performance under varying loads.
  • AI System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of AI-driven solutions with existing insurance operations systems, coordinating with IT and operations teams to align on technical requirements and deployment strategies.
  • Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay up to date with advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, applying new techniques and methodologies to enhance the capabilities and efficiency of deployed solutions, while also contributing to the team's knowledge base.
  • Play a Mentor role for Squad members.


What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of significant experience in development.
  • Good understanding of GenAI building blocks: agent skills, prompting techniques, agentic frameworks, evals, guardrails, RAG, embeddings/vectorDBs, MCP.
  • Proficient with Claude Code or other AI coding assistant.
  • A very good knowledge of Python.
  • A very good knowledge of AWS.
  • Good understanding of GenAI and Agentic AI building blocks.
  • Proficient in AI-assisted coding.
  • A good knowledge of MLOps best practices.
  • Well documented and ability to make complex concepts easy to understand.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
