Role : Technical DBA Manager

Location : Remote

Exp Req : 10+

  • Rate : $65/hr. on C2C/1099 (OR) $55/hr. on W2 (Max)

The role will lead and manage day-to-day operations of the enterprise data platform, ensuring reliability, availability, performance, and security across databases, data pipelines, and supporting cloud services.

Note: The Candidate should have experience with Azure Databricks, ADF, and SQL, along with SQL DBA experience.

Key experience and expectations:

  • Senior-level Data Operations / Database Operations leadership experience, with 10+ years preferred.
  • Strong hands-on background in SQL Server, T-SQL, database administration, Azure data platforms, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience leading and optimizing on-premise and cloud-based data platforms, including performance, reliability, security, and operational support.
  • Ability to establish and maintain operating procedures, monitoring, incident management, and production support practices.
  • Proven ability to reduce technical complexity and optimize platform cost and performance across enterprise data environments.
  • Working knowledge of data governance, access controls, audit support, and operational controls required in regulated environments.
  • Ability to partner effectively with architecture, engineering, governance, compliance, and business stakeholders.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills, with the ability to assess operational risk and implement practical, scalable solutions.
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, and operational support tools used to manage enterprise data platforms.
