Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior .NET Developer in Tempe, AZ.
Key Tasks:
* Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications and services using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Angular and related technologies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Application Support:
* Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
* Provide technical support for existing systems, including Government agency sites and other digital government tools
* Ensure high availability and reliability of deployed solutions
Modernization & Integration:
* Support legacy system modernization efforts for vehicle and transportation systems
* Integrate applications with third-party APIs, databases, and cloud platforms
* Contribute to the development of digital identity initiatives
Collaboration & Documentation:
* Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders
* Document code, processes, and system architecture for internal and external use
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
* At least 3-5+ years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
* Experience with SQL Server, RESTful APIs, and front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
* Experience building large-scale web-based applications with high user volume
* Deep experience with Azure and Azure DevOps
* Strong knowledge of C#, Angular, and .NET platform
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Must be aware of all Azure services available for app deployment
Nice to have Skills:
* Experience with government or transportation systems
* Knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms
* Familiarity with digital identity and portal development
* Exposure to Smart City or citizen engagement technologies
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
