About you

As a Valuation Services Director, you will perform top-tier valuation services to obtain new and retain top clients. You will manage and provide the highest-quality valuation and advisory solutions to our clients by leveraging the Company's full platform of services. Each day, you will promote and advocate Colliers' brand in the local market, articulating its value through superior customer service to its clients.

In this role, you will...

  • Originate new client relationships and foster existing ones.
  • Manage team members across geographies to deliver exceptional client service and results.
  • Allocation of appraisal assignments
  • Supervision of trainee appraisers
  • Execute valuation and appraisal assignments (financial reporting, purchase accounting, Net Asset Value, periodic reporting, tax, lending, etc.) for corporate clients, REITs (publicly traded & non-traded), pension funds, open and closed-end funds, lenders, etc.
  • Apply your Expertise in discounted cash flow (Argus and MS Excel), Sales Comparison Approach, Cost Approach, and Highest & Best Use.
  • Review industry surveys, benchmarks, economic and demographic trends.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner.

What you'll bring

  • MAI Designation required
  • 10+ years of related work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree plus completion of advanced appraisal class curriculum (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Team player mentality with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver excellent client service across the organization and with external partner.

Approximate Compensation for this Role:
100% commission-based compensation
Benefits
Employees (and their families) are provided options for employer subsidized medical benefits including RX, dental, vision as well as employer paid basic life/AD&D insurance and short-term / long-term disability. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes an employer match. Employees will also receive 10 days of sick leave, along with twelve weeks (for birth parents) and 4 weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) for paid parental leave which will be available for use after successful completion of 90 days of employment. Individuals may be eligible for different or additional benefits under applicable state law.
Bonus:
This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.
