Position Summary

Nestle Purina Petcare (NPPC) is a world-class manufacturer of pet food; we're a leader in the pet care industry. We are currently accepting applications for Industrial Maintenance Technicians for our production facility in Jefferson, WI, conveniently located off the Route 26 bypass south of Interstate 94 between Watertown, Janesville, and Madison. Starting pay is $39.82 hr., with a Maintenance Progression Plan that provides for increasing wages based on knowledge/skill demonstration and performance reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Automated Industrial Equipment in a high-speed canning facility.
  • Make minor repairs on general plant machinery such as fans, blowers, conveyors, belts, mechanical and screw conveyors.
  • Work with the Engineering Department on new installations and machine improvements.
  • Work with the Production Team to improve the efficiency of the machines and processes.
  • Apply basic electrical and electronic principals in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of plant systems.
  • Utilization of computerized maintenance software and programs to maximize efficiency and data collection/analysis.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment OR a technical degree / certification complete

Pay: $39.82 per hour

Bonus Eligibility: Yes

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
