Position Summary

Our newest factory, located along the Virginia border, breathes new life into a former brewery, creating an innovative and technologically advanced pet food manufacturing facility. We have transformed the existing structure in Rockingham County to produce leading dry dog and cat food brands, including Purina Pro Plan, Purina ONE, and Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets. With a strong focus on sustainability and safety, this facility is committed to doing our part to care for the environment, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal. As a Production Data Coordinator, you will be responsible for continuous analysis of variance results and losses of raw and packaging materials and finished product. This role works closely with Manufacturing and Finance teams within the factory to support the collection, entry, and reporting of manufacturing records and inventory management functions. You will also validate accuracy of consumptions performed by Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications and operators on the factory floor to ensure traceability. Your role directly affects costing, material requirements planning and performance reporting. Additionally, you will work with Production Operators on factory floor consumption processes to ensure accuracy and traceability of product.

Work Schedule:  6:00 pm - 6:00 am (2/2/3 work week)

  • Responsible for continuous analysis of variance results and losses of raw and packaging materials and finished product
  • Perform daily inventory walks to help ensure inventory accuracy
  • Complete production orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory through regular cycle count process
  • Validate accuracy of consumptions performed by MES applications and operators on the factory floor to ensure traceability
  • Enter consumptions of raw materials and packaging into production orders
  • Work with Production Operations on factory floor consumption processes to ensure accuracy and traceability of product
  • Work with Production and Warehouse Operations to ensure WMS integrity and accuracy of product movements throughout the facility

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years' experience with materials, accounting, inventory management, or production systems in a manufacturing, military, or related environment

The approximate pay range for this position is $42,000 to $58,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
