Position Summary:
Lawrence Brothers, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating and programming laser cutting equipment, ensuring production quality, and maintaining efficient workflow. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and program laser cutting machines using nesting reports and laser software
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and routers
  • Accurately read and use a tape measure
  • Set up and perform countersinking operations on parts
  • Troubleshoot cutting head and machine performance issues
  • Perform basic machine setup and adjustments
  • Maintain quality standards and inspect finished parts
  • Utilize computers to manage job files and machine programs
  • Follow all safety and production procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to read blueprints and precision measuring tools
  • Proficiency operating mill machine, band saw, and tapping machine
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting ability
  • Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail
