Job description

Hospital in northwestern Tennessee is seeking a BC/BE Internal or Family Medicine trained physician to join their nocturnist team. This well-established team of eight physicians, one APP, and a clinical performance nurse has access to resources that foster individual and team success. Enjoy low cost of living and no state income tax in this family friendly riverfront community with highly ranked public schools and no shortage of outdoor recreation.
Work-life balance, with the option for a flexible schedule and a commitment to covering for one another when a team member is on leave.  Standard rotation is seven days on and seven days off, spanning Monday through Sunday.  Average patient census of 12-15 per provider.  On-call periods include admissions ranging from zero to a maximum of four to five patients.  Work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, general surgery, urology, GI, endocrinology, orthopedics, and wound care specialists.  Open ICU, procedures and codes required.  Competitive salary with opportunities for bonuses based on performance and growth.  $60K commencement bonus.
