Security Agent

The Ned's Club DC offers a variety of spaces for eating, drinking and entertaining, each offering signature dishes and a selection of cocktails and drinks from around the world. As our Security Agent you will be tasked with the safety and security of our club, members, guests and employees. The goal is to ensure our club operations run smooth and are protected under your care.

The Ned and Ned's Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time. Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to have opened a Ned's Club in the US capital in 2025, our fourth and newest location.

Ned's Club Washington DC is a members' club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President's Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-storey building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.

The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder's Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.

As a Security Agent and a key part of the Operations team, you will:

  • Patrol and monitor premises, conduct regular patrol of the club including member areas and back-of-house to ensure security and detect irregularities
  • Respond to incidents or disturbances, including member complaints, unauthorized persons on property, emergency situations
  • Member and guest relations: provide assistance and support to members and guests addressing security-related concerns or inquiries
  • Monitor CCTV and other security equipment. Observe activities on the premises. Identify and address security breaches
  • Write incident reports and document medically treated and non-treated injuries
  • Uphold club policies, safety regulations and ensure adherence to conduct guidelines
  • Support our employees with any issues or concerns they may report
  • Stand for long periods of time during your shift
  • Be able to lift, pull and push 35 pounds or more

  • Can be flexible with your schedule, we believe in balancing your needs and our guests
  • Ability to deescalate situations and remain calm in stressful situations
  • Previous Security experience is preferred
  • Able to work PM shifts to include starting time of 4pm to 12:30am or 1:30am closing time
  • Able to work on weekends and holidays
