Job description

PRO-Telligent, LLC, a Tetra Tech Company, needs a Civil Engineer in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan for construction of New US Embassy Compound (NEC) with State Department Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). Requires a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance.
The Project
  • 17.3 Acre New US Embassy Compound (NEC) Construction Project in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
  • The new construction includes:
    • 6-story NOB (New Office Building)
    • 2 CACs (Compound Access Control Facilities)
    • Site Development
  • We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 year, but 2-3 years are available if you want them.
  • Housing and transportation allowances provided.
  • Uplift includes 25% of base salary, plus 25% COLA.
  • Benefits (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, paid round trip flights home)

Position Description
  • Provide NEC project with full range of critical engineering, construction quality assurance, and technical oversight.
  • Perform technical inspections of civil and structural work, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance.
  • Observe on-site construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly.
  • Monitor construction progress with regard to project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.

Requirements
  • US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher
  • US Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • OR Current US PE license can substitute for degree
  • 7 years construction experience
  • ABET accredited (not equivalent) international degree accepted in lieu of US Bachelor's or US PE
