NDT Recent Graduates - Aerospace Parts Manufacturing
Did you recently graduate from a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) program and looking to grow your NDT Career?  We are actively seeking applicants for our Penetrant and X-ray areas!

Primary Purposes:
A Penetrant Line Operator I uses Non-Destructive Treatment (NDT) techniques on titanium castings for the aerospace industry; specifically, the use of liquid penetrant solution.
An X-Ray Reader will interpret radiographic images and document results in accordance with established technique cards, develop shooting techniques as required, calibrate equipment, and train X-Ray Shooters as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Penetrant inspection functions including calibration, testing, and inspection.
  • Help X-Ray shooters and inspectors process and inspect parts.
  • Monitor cleaning equipment.
  • Other Non-Destructive Testing duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Applicant must be part of a technical education program in Non-Destructive Testing - in their first or second year, or recently graduated.
  • Applicant must be able to work available shifts. 
  • The physical effort applied in this job includes lifting, pulling, reaching, manipulating, carrying, pushing, and shoveling.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Good attendance and punctuality required.
  • Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Compliance with general company policies and procedures is required.
  • HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possess relevant experience will be considered.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Stable job history, including more than 2 year at previous or recent employer preferred.
  • Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.
  • Must be willing to participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening.
Working Conditions:
  • Exposure to dust, dirt, heat, cold, noise, and vibration.
  • The job is under manufacturing working conditions; exposure to any or all of the mentioned elements is likely, with at least one present to the extent of being disagreeable.
Schedule:
  • Weekend Days (3 X 12 Friday - Sunday) $1.25/hour shift premium
  • Swing (4 X 10 Mon-Thurs) $1.00/hour shift premium
