Quality Control Operator

The Quality Control Operator ensures that manufacturing processes and products within Make Pack, Filters, and Primary meet established specifications and quality standards. This role is responsible for conducting inspections, maintaining accurate records of results, and providing feedback on control deviations. Additionally, the specialist participates in data analysis for KPI calculations and identifies root causes to support corrective actions. Proper operation and light maintenance of quality control instruments and equipment are also key responsibilities to ensure compliance with quality standards and continuous process improvement.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance of process and final products by performing regular process and finished goods inspection per Quality Inspection Plan
  • Check compliance against specifications and take necessary corrective actions when requirements are not met
  • Maintain Quality inspection data through quality data base and hard copies as required
  • Calculate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual KPIs and perform root cause analysis to determine corrective actions
  • Check and inspect material handling and process flow in accordance with established procedures with consideration given to brand change
  • Demonstrate and promote commitment to health and safety
  • QUIP (Quality unsure inspected product)-hold segregate, label and inspect quality unsure products identified during inspection as per the guidelines and perform root cause analysis to propose possible solutions.
  • Ensuring that measuring and control equipments and instruments are properly handled and utilized in a clean environment
  • Ability to adapt to system changes by supporting system upgrades and implementation in Quality and Production departments
  • Participate in implementing 5S and 3R to standardize Quality laboratories
  • Follow Internal Regulations, demonstrate Laboratory skills and Statistical principles
  • Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager's request

Requirements:

  • An Associate's degree or aย relevant experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a similar industry may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Fluency in English (Oral and Written)
  • Intermediate PC Skills (MS Office applications)
