Essential Functions:

Make detailed inspection of assemblies, parts and finished products. Work within very close limits and tolerances using precision measuring instruments. Perform high-grade inspection work and exercise good judgement. Read blueprints and understand the use of various gauges. Perform incoming, electroplating and final inspections.  


Basic Work Functions:

Review Drawings and procedures as needed (with some initial instruction on Delta methods) and perform the needed work to assure the parts/products conform to requirements and enter data as needed in reports. Analyze discrepant parts/products to determine root cause of the defect or non-conformance and aid in the corrective and preventative actions required. Learn functions and proper use of the various measurement tools, electronic test devices, mechanical gages, and misc. hand tools used to inspect quality/dimensions of product/parts for conformity to requirements. Use Internal Electronic Information Data Base, accessed by Computer Terminal, to retrieve information relevant to Document changes and new designs as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience a plus, not required
