ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Monitor the quality standards via inspection of our manufactured product making sure it meets our customer expectations.
  • Approving acceptable items or enter defect details for replacement.
  • Operate the quality control desk receiving quality questions or concerns, routing these issues to Operations Management and other support teams for resolution.
  • Collecting data for cost, merchandising, planning etc.
  • Avoid waste and help create better efficiencies in the given areas.
  • Assisting the Quality Control Analysist complete their daily duties.
  • Cross training when require in the production floor

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect and report quality issues.
  • Approve items that meet the quality standards expected by our customer.
  • Enter defect information into the quality monitoring system.
  • Perform all duties of the quality assurance personnel.
  • Diagnose problems and contact appropriate teams for support.
  • At peak times we operate 24/7 operation; the proper candidate must be willing to work on either shift to provide this coverage.
  • Communicate with the support teams needed to solve issues within a timely manner.
  • Communicate with the Operations team about all aspects or problems in the area.
  • Read, write and reply to all business emails and other forms of communication in English.
  • Perform additional as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Must read and speak English (Spanish is helpful)
  • Must be comfortable working with a computer.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours.
  • Must be able to push/pull carts and totes up to 25lbs.

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $17.50 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
