Job description

Position Summary

Echo NDE is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockwood Service Corporation and provides full service non-destructive testing, inspection, and integrity services throughout North America.  Our wide array of services is tailored towards maintenance, integrity, construction for both facility and pipeline sectors to a range of industries. Echo NDE is currently seeking an experienced Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing Technician, to join our growing NDT team to support our operations out of Red Deer, AB.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced inspection technologies in a dynamic field environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing (GWUT) inspections on pipelines and related assets.
  • Interpret and analyze inspection data with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with field teams and clients to deliver high-quality inspection results.
Requirements
  • CGSB UT Level 2 certification.
  • CGSB MT and PT Level 2 certifications is considered an asset.
  • CSWIP Level I (GWUT) certification will be considered an asset.
  • Hands-on experience with Eddyfi GWUT systems preferred.
  • Experience with GUL or MsS systems will also be considered.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant NDT experience.
  • Rope Access (IRATA) certification is an asset.
  • Ability to travel.
