CGSB Certified NDT Technicians (UT/MT/PT)


Apave Canada has immediate, Full-time positions available for CGSB Certified NDT Technicians within our NDT Services Department.

Our Canadian operations currently provide services from Edmonton, Regina, Calgary, Cold Lake, Saskatoon, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Lloydminster, Nisku, Red Deer. Our USA operations provide services from 23 office locations, our United Kingdom operations provide services from 7 office locations, and our Australian operations provide services from 5 locations. Our growth is primarily due to our combination of experienced management and strong technical skills, combined with a high commitment to customer service.

Job Duties:

  • Conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections and examinations at facilities and field sites for a wide range of industries.
  • Interpreting NDT results and providing recommendations based on findings.
  • Maintaining NDT equipment and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.


Required Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have the following certifications and experience:

  • CGSB certification in UT, MT, and/or PT.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Some travel (including overnight stays out of town) may be required.


Safety Requirements:

  • Steel-toe boots are required; Apave Canada will provide additional PPE.


Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will have access to health benefits and may be required to join a union affiliated with the QCCC.


Legal entitlement to work in Canada is mandatory. 

All potential employees will be required to complete a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening.
