Job description

Venture Dynamics is seeking an experienced NDT Level II inspector who has the following certifications: NDT Level II VT, PT and MT.
This position requires 3 years or more in Quality Assurance and 6 or more years experience in the ship repair industry.
1. Performs quality assurance audits or checks on the work of welders, fitters andpipefitters, assuring the use of correctprocedures, materials, processes, and technical instructions.
2. Performs non-destructive inspections on all components as required by NAVSEAspecifications, blueprints and work procedure requirements to include NDTinspections for piping and structural fit-up and final weld including but notlimited to 5X visual (VT), liquid penetrant (LPT), magnetic particle (MT) inspections as needed.
3. Attends production meetings as necessary to keep up-to-date on job progress andworks with shop superintendents to resolve problems and possible negativeworkmanship trends.
Pay Range is from $25 to $32 per hour.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Two years related technicalexperience.
2. Must have documentation to support requirements have been met to achievedVT, PT, and MT NDT requirements.
3. Knowledge of shipboard structures and systems required.
4. Proficient in blueprint reading/interpretation, and QA systems
