Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant NCT works under the general direction of the physician. This role will provide health care to individuals and families as instructed by the physician, perform routine clinical procedures as directed by the physician, participate in patient education, and enter appropriate documentation into patients' health record.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program

Licenses and/or Certifications:

  • National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
  • NCT permit through the Texas Medical Board

Work Experience:

1-3 years of professional Medical Assistant experience, preferred
