The Nevada Community Resource Center (NCRC) Child Care Program Assistant will be responsible for providing a safe and caringenvironment for children ages 4-12 who are enrolled in the NCRC programs. The programassistants will directly supervise the children in the program and follow the basic programschedule. They may also be involved in the planning & leading group crafts/activities, completerecord keeping of activities and assist with homework/reading during the after school program.Responsibilities will also include greeting family members, completing cleaning activities andother duties as assigned.This position is very high energy that requires much patience and flexibility. Program assistantsshould be sensitive to the needs of each child in their care, while enforcing rules and boundariesin a positive manner. Effective communication with parents/teachers/coworkers is imperative tothe success of the program.
