Description

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Behavioral Services โ€“ Milford Mill, MD [ Mon - Fri 11am - 7pm Shift ]

NCIA is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Behavior Technician to provide direct care and behavioral support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a BCBA, the RBT will implement behavior plans, collect data, and collaborate with treatment teams across residential, clinical, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized behavior support plans and MANDT techniques
  • Support individuals in developing life and social skills
  • Accurately document behavior data and progress notes
  • Assist with behavioral assessments and plan development
  • Communicate with BCBAs, Behavior Specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Respond to behavioral crises using approved intervention strategies
  • Attend Person-Centered Plan meetings and required trainings
  • Maintain RBT certification and adhere to ethical standards
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma with 5 years' experience in behavioral health/developmental disabilities, or Bachelor's degree with 2 years' experience
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
  • Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow complex instructions and maintain accurate documentation
  • Proficient in basic math and data handling
  • Comfortable working with diverse populations and maintaining confidentiality
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record per agency policy
Certifications
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
  • Certified Medication Technician (CMT) or ability to obtain via MTTP
  • MANDT certification or ability to complete training
