To address these challenges, riggers should prioritize thorough pre-lift planning, stay updated on industry safety standards, and participate in regular team briefings to maintain clear communication.

What is an NCCCO Rigger?

An NCCCO Rigger is a professional who has been certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) to safely rig loads for lifting with cranes or other hoisting equipment. This certification demonstrates that the individual has the necessary knowledge and skills to select, inspect, and use rigging equipment properly, as well as to communicate effectively with crane operators and other team members.
