This role provides hands-on experience incoaching, recruiting, student-athlete development, and administrative operations within acollegiate Baseballll program. The GA may also assist the Athletics Department and the AthleticDirector as needed.

Participation in institutional chapel services is expected, reflecting theuniversitys values and mission.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDuties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Coaching & Player DevelopmentAssist the head coach and staff with daily practices, drills, and game preparationAnalyze game and practice film to provide feedback to players and coaching staffMentor and support student-athletes academically and spirituallyHelp with strength and conditioning programs as directedRecruiting & Administrative SupportAssist with recruiting efforts, including communications, travel planning, and hostingprospective student-athletesMaintain recruiting databases and compliance recordsHelp organize team schedules, travel arrangements, and logisticsSupport compliance with NCCAA and institutional rulesHelp organize fundraising events and service projectsGame & Event OperationsSupport game-day operations, including stats tracking, scouting reports, and team coordinationAssist with team events, camps, clinics, and community outreach programsContribute to promotional and marketing efforts for the programFaith & Community EngagementAttend and actively participate in institutional chapel servicesSupport and promote the universitys mission, values, and faith-based communityinitiativesAdditional ResponsibilitiesPerform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic DirectorREQUIRED MINIMUM QualificationsAccording to Ohio Christian University employment policy, all employees must possess a strongChristian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the OCU Community LifestyleStatement.Required: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution Acceptance into a Graduate program at the University Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as neededPreferred: Experience in coaching Baseball or competing at the collegiate level Knowledge of NCCAA rules and recruiting processes Passion for mentoring and developing student-athletes athletically and spirituallyLIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMERAs a religious educational institution operating under the auspices of The Churches of Christ in Christian Union, OhioChristian University is permitted and reserves the right to prefer employees on the basis of religion (42 U.S.C.,Sections 2000e-1 and 2000e-2).The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of workbeing performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skillsrequired for the position.
