Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, driven Account Executive to join the NBC & Telemundo Connecticut sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career by selling across one of the most diverse and innovative media portfolios in the industry—including broadcast, digital, streaming, and multicultural platforms.

The ideal candidate is relationship-oriented, resourceful, and excited by the challenge of identifying new business opportunities in a rapidly evolving media landscape. You’ll work directly with clients of all sizes and industries, from prospecting through campaign execution, with a focus on delivering creative solutions that meet and exceed sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively build and grow relationships with new and existing clients to drive revenue across the NBCU Local portfolio: television, digital, and OTT/CTV, platforms.
  • Identify new verticals and untapped business categories through strategic outreach, networking, and industry research.
  • Develop custom, client-focused marketing solutions that align advertiser goals with NBCU content, properties, and audiences.
  • Sell high-profile tentpole properties, including the Olympics, Super Bowl, Sunday Night Football, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and World Cup.
  • Leverage and position our best-in-class OTT/CTV offerings—including Peacock and Spot On
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, presentations, campaign execution, optimization, and post-sale service.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to help clients understand the value of multicultural marketing by utilizing Telemundo to engage Hispanic audiences.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where adaptability and creative problem-solving are key to success.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in overall Sales, Marketing, Digital Sales, or relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience

  • Proven success in relationship-building and business development.
  • Strong marketing instincts and creative thinking to build impactful campaigns.
