JOB SUMMARY:
The Cleveland Charge (NBA G League affiliates owned and operated by the Cleveland Cavaliers) are looking for energetic/outgoing Male AND Female entertainment and staging managers for all home NBA G-League basketball games at Cleveland Public Hall for the 2026-2027 season. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, responsible, detail-oriented, personable, show a strong confidence and enthusiasm to perform in front of large crowds while executing in-game activations and promotions as well supporting hosts, mascot(s) and additional in-game talent.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute in-game promotions and contests in the stands, on the court and LIVE on-camera.
  • Represent the team and interact with fans at games, events and at community appearances.
  • Bring energy and a positive attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of Cleveland Charge players, stats and staff.
  • Strong, clear voice to confidently engage audiences in large arena settings, i.e. rally moments, crowd prompts.
  • Prepare and execute game day elements and activations.
  • Prepare and execute community events, team functions, school visits, appearances, etc.
  • Appear in promotional and entertainment video features in-game, TV and/or online.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends, evenings, and/or holidays as needed.
  • Must be available for a minimum of 22 out of 24 Charge home games during the regulation season.
  • Self-confidence and enthusiasm to perform in front of large crowds.
  • Strong communication skills, outgoing personality, and interest in interacting with fans of all ages.
  • Strong sense of humor, ability to laugh at themselves and engage fans in a variety of activities.
  • Previous sports and entertainment management experience is preferred.
  • Previous stage management experience is preferred.
  • Previous sports (staff or player) experience is helpful, but not required.
  • Must be comfortable on-camera and able to improvise in a live show environment.
  • Ability to work varied a schedule; primarily nights/weekends, plus additional community events, as needed.
  • Creativity and initiative to actively collaborate with Game Presentation and Team Marketing on in-game elements/contests, video skits, promotions, team activities and fan relations.
  • Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to Cleveland Public Auditorium.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with other departments such as group sales and membership.
  • Coordinate the setup and breakdown of game-day materials, including banners, signage, DJ booth and other props.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Game Director.
