Enterprise Systems Manager – RealPage

About the Opportunity


Our client is a mission-driven real estate development, investment, and property management organization focused on affordable and multifamily housing. The company is seeking an experienced Enterprise Systems Manager to oversee the administration, optimization, and continued development of its core business applications, with primary responsibility for the RealPage environment.


This role sits at the intersection of technology and real estate operations, supporting the systems and processes used across property management, accounting, asset management, and reporting. The Enterprise Systems Manager will lead platform enhancements, property implementations, system integrations, and complex technical support while partnering with business leaders to improve efficiency, reporting, and data integrity.

The ideal candidate combines deep RealPage expertise with a strong understanding of affordable housing operations, including HUD and LIHTC requirements.


Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Systems Management

  • Serve as the primary administrator and internal owner of RealPage and its related modules.
  • Manage system configurations, enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and ongoing platform maintenance.
  • Lead enterprise application initiatives in alignment with business and departmental priorities.
  • Evaluate workflows, system performance, and reporting capabilities and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, administrative procedures, and platform standards.
  • Oversee integrations between RealPage and other business applications.
  • Maintain appropriate access controls, system security, and data governance standards.

Business Partnership and Process Improvement

  • Partner with Property Management, Accounting, Asset Management, and other departments to understand operational requirements.
  • Translate business needs into effective system configurations, reporting solutions, and workflow improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency through stronger utilization of enterprise applications.
  • Advise business stakeholders on system capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
  • Promote adoption and consistent use of technology across the organization.

Property Onboarding and Implementation

  • Lead system setup and implementation for property acquisitions, transitions, and management takeovers.
  • Coordinate data conversion, validation, testing, training, and go-live activities.
  • Develop repeatable implementation procedures and deployment standards.
  • Work across internal departments to ensure accurate and timely property onboarding.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external resources when specialized expertise is required.

Technical Support and Operational Excellence

  • Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex enterprise application issues.
  • Troubleshoot system, integration, workflow, data, and reporting problems.
  • Monitor application performance and identify opportunities to improve stability and the user experience.
  • Coordinate issue resolution with software vendors and third-party partners.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal users.

Reporting, Data, and Analytics

  • Partner with business leaders to identify operational and financial reporting requirements.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across enterprise platforms.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPI-tracking tools.
  • Investigate data discrepancies and coordinate corrective action.
  • Support broader business intelligence and analytics initiatives connected to enterprise systems.


Qualifications

  • At least five years of direct RealPage administration experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting HUD, LIHTC, or other affordable housing programs.
  • Strong understanding of property management, accounting, asset management, and reporting workflows.
  • Experience managing enterprise applications, system integrations, and implementation projects.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of system architecture, data governance, security, workflows, and reporting.
  • Experience leading property onboarding, data conversion, testing, training, and go-live activities.
