Job Summary:
Appian is a process automation technology company that is seeking a strategic and customer-focused Program Manager to lead programs within the US Navy Logistics domain. The role involves designing, leading, and executing programs that modernize logistics capabilities for the US Navy, while working cross-functionally to enhance the customer experience.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, implement, and optimize customer success programs for the US Navy encompassing onboarding, adoption, value realization, and renewal.
โ€ข Lead and manage large-scale, cross-functional initiatives from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and meet strategic objectives.
โ€ข Develop and manage strategic roadmaps and plans for programs within the Navy logistics domain that align with customer requirements.
โ€ข Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization, gathering and analyzing feedback to inform program development and product enhancements.
โ€ข Deliver Navy logistics specific experience and expertise to inform the approach for modernization and to inform Appianโ€™s product vision.
โ€ข Drive innovation into program delivery and the application modernization approach, including the application AI technologies to accelerate delivery, increase quality and enable the mission stakeholders.
โ€ข Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer success programs, including but not limited to customer health scores, agile delivery metrics and program operations and financials.
โ€ข Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure a cohesive and unified customer experience across all touchpoints.
โ€ข Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Navy customer stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
โ€ข Identify and mitigate risks to customer success, proactively developing and implementing strategies to address challenges.
โ€ข Champion a customer-centric culture throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field.
โ€ข A minimum of 10+ years of experience in program management within the Department of War or other relevant federal government agencies.
โ€ข Direct experience leading the delivery of complex technology modernization initiatives to the Department of War (DoW) within the logistics domain, ideally with the US Navy.
โ€ข Proven ability to develop and execute complex programs and large-scale projects with measurable results and managing over 50 resources.
โ€ข Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
โ€ข Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
โ€ข Proficiency with Appian, other modern platform technologies (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, Palantir) and/or custom application development.
โ€ข Experience leading technology modernization leverage agile methodologies and AI enabled code generation approaches.
โ€ข Ability to hold a US government clearance at the DoW Secret level.
โ€ข Willingness to travel to client locations, as required.
Preferred:
โ€ข The ideal candidate will have experience and relationships with clients within the Navy logistics space.
โ€ข The ideal candidate will have experience with Maintenance, Repair and Overall or shop floor related software technologies, and an understanding of the application of AI to meet mission requirements.
