Job description

PCS is seeking a Full-Time Peer Recovery Support Specialist for the Pearl Program in Rocky Mount. This program operates a women's recovery residence and supports pregnant and parenting women as they navigate recovery, ensuring appropriate pre-natal and post-partum care, as well as access to behavioral health services. Peer Recovery Support Specialists provide non-clinical peer-to-peer activities to empower individuals to improve health, recovery, resiliency, and wellness. The successful candidate will demonstrate lived experience with substance use challenges and a minimum of one year of personal recovery on the application. Virginia Certification as Peer Recovery Support Specialist preferred. Doula training is preferred, or willing to complete doula training. Caregiver experience preferred. The applicant must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record. Salary is commensurate with education & experience as it relates to the position.

Schedule: Thurs-Tues 11am-8pm
