Job description

UNM Linguistics Department Navajo Language Programanticipates hiring Adjunct Faculty to teach undergraduate level course Navajo Iand Navajo II in Summer 2026.
Instructors are responsible for all aspects of any classthey are teaching including but not limited to meeting with the class duringassigned times, content delivery, assignment development, grading assignments,reporting of grades, and assessment of student learning as outlined by theDirector of the Navajo Language program.
Position is contingent upon need each semester as determinedby student enrollment levels, current course offering matrix, and demand drivenby graduation requirements.  Position maybe filled or eliminated each semester up to the deadline for students to dropor add courses. Candidate selected for this position will report to the NavajoLanguage Program Director.
